So one of the main things that I wanted to do while I was here in Japan was take part in this event. I've been seeing it on Facebook and Instagram for months and months as I was planning my trip. It did not disappoint!

Higashi Hongan-ji Temple 東本願寺 This Temple is massive, covering quite a span of land. Many different buildings and out buildings. I don't have as many pics as I would like because there were quite a few "no pic" signs. I get it, it's a very active Temple with many praying all the while I was there.

For a small fee you can walk the gardens for as long as you want. In here are tea houses, meeting rooms, and what were part of a property owned by a lord. The history is vast and was actually holding a 60year anniversary for women's culture here in Kyoto. Very impressive dress and display for this event.

Sitting in a neat little cafe called Vermilion Station! After spending the night in a traditional Onsen it was a great way to start what is to be an awesome day!

Went on a walk-about, some amazing sights!

Tried 10 Sake's, it was a great way to learn all about Sake and it's creations.

One of my first Adventures here in Tokyo! Got to make my own chopsticks, using Sakura wood in other words cherry blossom wood!

Found a great little coffee shop just down the road from my hotel called Tully's Coffee. Great way to start off the day people watching with a coffee!

I'll tell you it's a lot quieter at 5:30 in the morning then it was at 6:30 at night! It's so hard to believe but there are so many restaurants open at this hour and there are so many people out and around!

Well it was a long flight let me tell you. But the people were great the food was quite decent and the time did seem to pass quickly. It's 4:00 in the morning here in Japan,in the heart of Tokyo. I finally got some sleep so I'm going to be setting up my day hopefully finding a nice coffee somewhere!
